liquid sheet. The inlet velocities that form a complete liquid sheet were determined from the
experiments, they are V

= 5–6 m/s for UAN-32 fertilizer and 5–7 m/s for water. In addition, the
factors affecting the uniformity of the amount of liquid flowing out through the slot were determined
in the course of the research. Analysis of the identified deviations and their causes was carried out.
The flow characteristics of water and UAN-32 having different density and viscosity were compared
and the effect of temperature was studied. For future works it was proposed to take into account the
phenomenon of liquid surface tension in the numerical analysis, as well as to reduce the volume of the
feed channel in order to save liquid fertilizer consumption.
