Injury - physical damage to a person
Iron - a mineral in food needed for healthy blood
leafy vegetable - a green vegetable with leaves (cabbage, spinach, etc)
lost fluids - water that the body loses through sweat during exercise or when it is hot
mineral - a natural substance found in food (iron, calcium, etc)
pain - an unpleasant feeling which hurts
permission slip - signed piece of paper that allows smb. to do smth. poultry - birds raised on a farm for food (chicken, turkey, etc) presence - the state of being at a place
protein - a substance found in meat, eggs, etc.
sprain my ankle - to injure the lower part of the leg that connects the leg to the foot cut
warm up - to do some exercises to prepare for a game or other activity
