First, let me introduce myself. My name is Amit. I was a pupil of the 11^th form. This year I have finished school. I associate my working day with my school day till now, because school is our second home. This year I want to enter the University and become a mathematician. That is why I paid special attention to mathematics and physics. I worked hard and now I feel very tired.

I want to tell you about my usual day. It starts at 7 o’clock in the morning. It’s rather easy to get up so early in summer. And, though, I am not a lazy-bones, it’s very difficult to get up at seven in winter. I regularly do my morning exercises. Then I take a cold shower. I am a good-eater and usually it takes me almost half an hour to have breakfast. Then I put on my coat, take my bag and leave home at 7.45. My school is near my house. I’d rather say it’s in 5 minutes walk from my place. The lessons begin at 8 o’clock sharp. I never miss classes I attend school every day. Our school is situated in the centre of the city. It is a specialized mathematical school. That’s why most of its pupils show interest in this subject.

We study different subjects at school, such as physics, chemistry, biology, literature and others. I think it is important for a pupil to operate a computer. The lessons are over at 2 or 3 o’clock in the afternoon. But I rarely go home at once. Our class-mates are very friendly. We are given brilliant opportunities to go in for sports, to take part in many different competitions, games. I devote all my free time to it.

After school I go home. I have a lot to do every day. But first of all I have dinner. I have no time to go for a walk on my weekdays. I follow the principle that a good discipline will help me to study well and achieve more in my adult life. That’s why I try to prepare my home work before my parents come home.

My Dad is an economist. My Mother is a French teacher. We like to spend our evenings together. After supper we discuss our everyday problems. Sometimes my parents are busy or go out. The other days friends come to see me. We watch films or listen to music together.

This final year at school was very hard. But I firmly believe that school was a very good time in my life. Now you can see that I am really very busy. My working day starts at 7 a.m. and ends at 11 p.m. But in spite of that I am happy.
