A: I’ve bought new shoes. B: Where did you buy them? A: I bought …… !!!! When, What time – Pr. Perfect(x) Where - где – Pr. Perfect Куда – may be used 4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense. Have/has been +ing It has been raining since morning. It hasn’t been raining….. Has it been raining …..? Using: 1. An activity which started in the Past and is still going on (for/since) I am reading a book now. I’ve been reading a book a book for 2 hours. I’ve been learning English for 3 years. 2. An activity which was going on, has just finished and has a Result in the Present. Мама сидит уставшая так как она весь день закрывала банки. Mum is sitting tired as she has been canning jam all day long. Мама – молодец! Она закрывала 30 л вареня. Mum is great! She has canned 30 litres of jam. 3. To Express anger, surprize(преувеличивая). I’ve been waiting for you in this pouring nain!!! – anger(злость) 5. Past Perfect Tense Had+ ed/3 I had finished the work by 4 p.m. yest. I hadn’t finished ….. Had I finished …….? Using: 1. An action which finished by a certain time in the past(өткен шақта бір нақты уақытқа дейін аяқталғантіс-әрекет). By 7 p.m. yest. I had had dinner. By this time last Friday we had already passed an exam. By 2004 ……. 2. An action which finished before another Past action. Мен үйге келгенде ешкім болмады, ата-анам бір жаққа кетіп қалыпты. When I came home there was nobody in, my parents had gone somewhere. Он был растроен так как потерял ключи. He was upset as he had lost the keys. 3. Inversion with: Scarcely …… when Hardly (ever) …… then No sooner …… than. No sooner had I entered the house than Akmaral phoned. (!!!
