Обзор некоторых существенных моментов структурного и функционального анализа лишь намечает наиболее важные проблемы и возможности данного способа социологического мышления. Каждый из зафиксированных в парадигме пунктов требует дальнейшего теоретического рассмотрения и накопления опыта в области эмпирических исследований. Но ясно и то, что в функциональной теории освобожденная от сковывающих ее 447 традиционных постулатов, которые превращали ее едва ли в что-либо большее, чем запоздалая рационализация повседневной практики, социология находит одну из основ систематического и важного для эмпирических исследований метода. Есть основания надеяться, что намеченное здесь направление будет стимулировать дальнейшую систематизацию функционального анализа. Со временем каждая часть парадигмы превратится в документированный, проанализированный и систематизированный раздел истории функционального анализа. 448 1 Меrtоn R.К.
