ANNOTAION
This master's project is aimed at research and analysis of raw materials for the
smelting of complex ferroalloys.
In this paper, phase transformations in the charge for smelting alumina-silicate
manganese using differential thermal analysis (DTA) are studied. Methods of non-
isothermal kinetics experimental data and numerical values of activation energy of
processes occurring at the slopes of charge materials of aluminosilicomanganese, as
well as charges based on them, were obtained.
Also, a polar thermodynamic analysis of the smelting of a complex raft of
aluminosilicomanganese using the «TERRA» software complex was performed. With
its help, the compositions of the metal, slag and gas phases were determined and their
temperature changes were confirmed. The method of complete thermodynamic
modeling of metallurgical processes in the software complex "TERRA" is based on the
principles of maximum entropy and takes into account all known reactions of the
reacting components that make up the thermodynamic system.
