People are losing their jobs because business is bad. What do these people do when they have no job and lose their wages? Firstly, every redundant worker must decide how to spend his "golden handshake" - his redundancy payment. Most people either spend it all at once, or use it to live on until they find a new job. Aset 25, could not find a job when he left school, so he went to college. He passed his exam, but he is no nearer to getting a job now. "I get 1000 tg. a week benefit, but it doesn't go far", said Aset. Aset goes to the job sentre every week. "I'm at a difficult age", he said. "I want to do electronics or engineering, but most firms with training schemes want someone younger than me". Most Aset's college friends found work, so the days are long and lonely. Here you can see many tombs of British Kings and Queens and other famous people, such as: Charles Dickens, Walter Scott, and Thomas Hardy. Tower of London was a fortress, a royal palace, later a prison. Now it is a museum. Many tourists come to visit London and see all these places.
