The Radonezh Pilgrim Service is the one of the biggest companies in pilgrim tourism in Russia, it was established in 1989.
The guidelines of Radonezh Pilgrim Service are religious and missionary trips, educational tours, pilgrimage, seminars, river and sea cruises, receiving of foreign groups in Russia, publication of periodicals such as “the Holy places guide-book», radio programs about the pilgrimage.
The geography of our pilgrim trips is very vast and diverse: Russia – Moscow, Saint Petersburg, the Golden Ring, Solovki, Valaam, Altai and Siberia (60 itineraries); Europe – France, Spain, Germany, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Estonia and Ukraine; the Middle East – Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt and Turkey.
Thank to our agency, the people, who earlier knew nothing about the Church and Christ the Savior, were turning to God. Our purpose was to show them all richness and diversity of the spiritual life which has been preserved by our Church. Narration about the ascetics of Devoutness and catechization en route always were and remain the basis of our activity.
After a lapse of 20 years the Russian citizens became more aware of the fact that the pilgrimage is an integral part of their religious and social life as well. We have developed travel itineraries across Russia and outside its boundaries. We have opened branch and representative offices in many towns and we are providing the methodical assistance in the matter of the organization of pilgrim activity. We are welcome you to travel with us!
In 2004 the Patriarch of Moscow and Russia Alexis II awarded our pilgrim service with the Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh of the III (third) degree. We are ready for the cooperation with all who glorify our Lord Jesus Christ in their life and work and who are in search of a way that leads to Him.
