Course description: The main stages of the formation of the modern political map of the world. State system: forms of government and administrative division. The world's diversity, grouping and typology of countries. Political geography and geopolitics. International organizations and Kazakhstan. Natural conditions and resources of the world. World population. Scientific and technical revolution and world economy. Globalization and social geography
Tasks of the discipline; forms ideas about the location of the population, the constant growth of the population, the geography of world religions;forms an idea of the world economy and the international division of labor.
Course aim: Study of the basic concepts and definitions of the course political, economic, social geography of the world. The study of the discipline, which is part of the social Sciences, is an actual and unique discipline in the whole system of geographical Sciences.
