Brief description of the discipline: has knowledge of the device of the main geodetic instruments, methods of determining, measuring the angle, length and height, has an idea about the processing of measurement results performed on the surface of the Earth, about drawing up a plan and profile, checks, corrects instruments, equipment, solves engineering and geodetic problems, processes the results of measurements performed on the surface of the Earth, teaches to make a plan and profile.
Tasks of the discipline; possess practical skills in processing measurement results, the ability to build plans and profiles from them.
Course aim: the acquisition of skills in working with geodetic instruments, knowledge of methods of performing field geodetic works, processing the results of the work performed, the ability to make calculation and graphic drawings.
Prerequisites: Cartography and topography, fundamentals of cartography and geodesy
Post-requisite: GIS
Expected learning outcomes of the sudject (LOS):
LOS 1 be able to solve engineering and geodetic problems using a map;
LOS 2 be able to perform angular, longitudinal measurements with geodetic instruments and calculate the coordinate axes;
