Course description: the discipline examines the history of physical, economic and social geography, as well as analyzes the current state of geographical science and the prospects for the development of geography.
Tasks of the discipline; is able to apply the acquired knowledge in pedagogical activity;
Course aim: to characterize the history of the formation and development of geographical science in the countries of the Ancient East, geography in the ancient world, the teaching of geography in Ancient China, geography in the Middle Ages, great geographical discoveries, modern times and the present day.
