The research theoretical importance consists in a framework expansion of a business discourse studying and business correspondence as its special genre. The received results can contribute to the development of the cross-cultural business communication theory, interlingual pragmatics, contrastive rhetoric. The specific cases of manifestation revealed in work the socio-cognitive and communicative and pragmatic features in language, in particular, in a written business discourse and business correspondence as its special genre, enrich idea of national and cultural specifics of business correspondence.
The research results offer prospects for further studying of features of national business cultures and their manifestations in texts of business correspondence.
The work practical importance is defined by a usage possibility of its provisions and results in development of the Kazakh practical course, Russian and English languages for the special purposes, in methodical developments and handbooks on the Kazakh, Russian and English languages and in cross-cultural communication in the sphere of business communication. The research results can be also used in developing the managements for stylistic editing business documentation, a training technique of specialists in the field of the international relations, translators in the sphere of business communication and other experts whose activity provides knowledge of language specifics by drawing up and the analysis of official contents documents, especially in the conditions of active use in means of the business communication optimization.
The conducted research allows to submit the following for defense provisions:
• The business discourse is the difficult communicative phenomenon which language component represents the purposeful mental and speech activity which is updated by means of the psychological and cognitive and pragmatic processes proceeding in consciousness of business communicants.
• The modern Kazakhstan business discourse develops on the basis of unique experience of business communication and discursive practice, caused by problems of language planning, individual language competences, the state order, combining the developed traditions and modern requirements of sustainable development of economy and business. The features of formation of the Kazakhstan business discourse caused by globalization and integration processes, historical, culturological, geopolitical, economic and other factors consist in functioning in practice of oral and written business communication of three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.
• The descriptive analysis modeling of business correspondence in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages expands the range of the business texts studying realizing a certain situation of business communicants speech interaction – a business discourse, by the appeal to many measurements developed by contrastive rhetoric, cross-cultural pragmatics, cross-cultural communication, cognitive linguistics. The model of the descriptive analysis of the business correspondence texts developed in the thesis gives the chance of the complex studying of the business texts features including composite and structural, communicative and pragmatic and socio-cognitive levels.
• Specifics of texts of business correspondence realization the discursive of strategy and tactics, ways and the nature of impact on the addressee, the presuppozitive knowledge, a socio-cultural context and in manifestation of valuable aspects at realization of social cognition is most brightly shown in the special composite and structural organization of business texts, communicative intensions of business communicants.
• The national and cultural distinctions revealed in the course of the analysis of the business correspondence texts in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages are caused by the cognitive base of communicants, cultural tradition and behavioural tactics accepted in the considered communities. Mastering the main components of cognitive base of the Kazakh, Russian and English cultural and language communities allows to avoid many communicative and pragmatic failures in modern cross-cultural business communication.
