Topic of the thesis: Opportunities for developing the creative potential of 5th-6th grade students through a self-knowledge lesson
Scope of work: 70 pages, 7 Figures, 1 table.
Key concepts: Рersonality, creativity, activity, creative potential.
Purpose of the study: to determine the scientific and theoretical foundations of the formation of creative potential of students and to test the possibilities of their development through the subject «self-knowledge».
Object of study: educational system of grades 5-6.
Subject of study: the process of organizing creative and search work of students in the lesson «self-knowledge».
Creativity is the creation of new images, objects, or actions based on previous experience. Thinking in a higher form that goes beyond what is required to solve emerging problems in ways that have long been known. When you dominate the process of thinking, creativity manifests itself as an illusion. Being a component of the goal and method of action, it elevates itself to the level of creative activity as a prerequisite for skill and initiative.
Creative activity – an activity aimed at creating something new
Creative activity is the ability to show your personality in a deeper, new way. Previously, psychological consideration of aspects of creative activity prevailed, but today the emphasis is placed on the development of a philosophical and social theory of creativity. Where there is development, there is creativity.
Researsh results:
1. Тhe scientific and theoretical foundations of the formation of students creativity are determined;
2. Тhe essence of the concepts «personality», «creativity», «activity», «creative potential» is revealed in a pedagogical and psychological context, and the possibilities of developing students' creative potential are described;
3. А content-structural model aimed at developing the creative potential of students of grades 5-6 has been created, thereby increasing their self-knowledge;
4.Тhe effectiveness of methods for developing the creative potential of students of grades 5-6 through the subject «self-knowledge» was proved by practical testing.
