– особо важным и многосторонним является личный вклад А.Х. Маргулана в развитие музейного дела республики, в плане внедрения новых, малоизвестных данных по истории и культуре Казахстана, обоснования значимости как материального, так и нематериального наследия;

The Importance of the Scientific Heritage of the Academician Alkei Khakanovich Marghulan for the Museum Activities of Kazakhstan
The topicality of the research is connected with the fact that extensive scientific heritage of academician A.Kh. Marghulan has not yet been studied in connection with the development of the museum activities in Kazakhstan. A wide range of researches of the scientist in the field of historical-cultural heritage of the Kazakh people bear historical-cognitive, educational and source-bearing importance. In the context of the State program “Cultural Heritage”, new sources on national history and culture (via the system of museums as well) were put into scientific and social circulation. Alongside with archeological researches it is very actual to study the ethno-cultural directions of A.Kh.Marghulan’s works on ethno-history, ethnography, national architecture of Kazakhs, his investigations in the field of philology, the Kazakh written language and folklore.

The dissertation work is dedicated to the elaboration of theoretical and applied problems of the Kazakhstani museum activities in connection with exclusively multisided and valuable scientific-theoretical as well as practical heritage of the scientist-encyclopaedist, who, by studying the history and culture of the Steppe civilization, tasks and methods of history, ethnography, archeology, philology and etc. put into practice the interdisciplinary method of investigation. The new, multisided, complex results obtained by the academician A.Kh.Marghulan in the frame of scientific and practical introduction are of great importance for the development of museum activities in the Republic. A thorough investigation of A.Kh.Marghulan’s heritage substantiates the solution of crucial problems of Kazakhstani museum studies, development perspectives, leads home museums to a highly qualified new level of realization of their informative-communicative importance in providing with cultural continuity of generations, deepening the process of self-identification of the Kazakh ethnicity and etc.

  to investigate many-sided scientific-practical activities, works of the academician A.Kh.Marghulan as an important foundation for the development of the museum activities in Kazakhstan in general, such directions as “ethnographic museum studies” in particular;

  to study and define the importance of the scientific heritage of A.Kh.Marghulan as the main source for practical museum studies in the field of ethno-history and ethno-culture;

  to investigate expositions, museum funds of the Republic and define the role of scientific heritage, discoveries, elaborations, specific materials revealed by the academician A.Kh.Marghulan;

  on the examples of the works of the academician A.Kh.Marghulan the importance of many-sided heritage of outstanding scientists for the development of museum activity in Kazakhstan was shown as the main source and conceptual basis;

  an attempt to work out a new concept of Kazakhstani museum in the light of a unique and wide-ranging heritage of the scientist was made for the first time;

  on the basis of investigations of the academician A.Kh.Marghulan, special summary tables on ethnographic exhibitions, works of artists, ethnographic expositions (Kazakh saddles), which were reflected in museum activities of the Republic and in special expositions were worked out.
