Сode of module: 7
Name of module: Database Design and Information Systems Name of discipline: Creation of databases by means of programming systems
Prerequisites: DB theory
Postrequisites: application of knowledge and practical skills in professional activities
Purpose: familiarization with the methods of creating a database using object-oriented technology.
Brief description: (OODD) —a database in which data is presented in the form of object models, including application programs, which are controlled by external events. The result of combining the capabilities (features) of databases and the possibilities of object-oriented programming languages are Object-Oriented Database Management Systems (OOSUBD). OOSUBD allows you to work with database objects as well as with objects in programming in SNAP. OOSUBD extends programming languages by transparently entering long-term data, concurrency control, data recovery, associated queries, and other features.
