Scientists throughout the entire period of formation expressed the ideas of
enhancing education and development of pedagogy long before it was formalized into
an independent scientific discipline. Ya.A. Comenius, J.-J. Russo, I.G. Pestalozzi, KD
Ushinsky and others. Among Russian psychologists, B.G. Ananiev, L.S. Vygotsky,
A.N. Leontiev, B.F. Lomov, S.L. Rubinstein and others. The emergence of active
learning methods is associated with the desire of teachers and trainers to activate the
cognitive activity of students or contribute to its improvement. When using active
teaching methods, the role of the student changes - from an obedient memory device
he turns into an active participant in the educational process. This new role and its
characteristic characteristics make it possible in practice to form an active personality
with all the necessary skills and qualities of a modern successful person [1].
Active learning is such an organization and management of the educational
process, which is aimed at the full activation of the educational and cognitive activity
of students through a wide, preferably integrated, use of both pedagogical (didactic)
and organizational and managerial means. The activation of training can go both
through improving the forms and methods of training, and through improving the
organization and management of the educational process as a whole. Education in the
AMO system does not act as an exclusive duty and right of the teacher (trainer). Here
learning is the result of the counter activity of a group of students (AMO participants).
It is in the group that the effect of mutual stimulation, the effects of competition and
support arise, the participants empathize with each other's successes and failures,
analyze and evaluate the actions of partners, share their experience with them, and act
as both trainers and learners alternately. This is where the group effect manifests
itself [2]. Initially, AMOs became widespread in the system of retraining of specialists.
Accelerated preparation time is of particular importance here, therefore AMO,
especially game teaching methods, have won wide popularity and recognition. Then
AMO began to be used in the training of higher education specialists. Last of all, they
began to be applied in the system of general education, where the classical methods of
