Course description:The main directions of parasitology research. Fundamentals of zoological classification. The role of parasites in the biosphere.Toxic substances and their effect on a living organism. Examines the nature of substances, their various properties, the sensitivity of animals to toxic substances, various transformations of poison in the body, the causes and consequences of poisoning, the penetration and separation of poison from the body, the main clinical signs and pathological changes of poisoning.
Prerequisites:School biology course. Zoology of invertebrates.
Postrequisites:Manufacturing practice
Expected learning outcomes of the subject (LOS):
LOS 1. experimental methods of parasitological research, helminthological
is able to bring up knowledge about the organization of collections, about the turnover of the development of Turners, hygienic skills in working with invasive material, to use for their own health.
LOS2.can characterize the origin of parasites, the ways of adaptive evolution of organisms, their distribution in the main taxa of the animal world.
