The degree of prosperity of the monotown is determined by the stability of the
GP operation, as in 19 mono-towns the town-forming enterprises operate stably. In
small towns, SMEs also operate SMEs, but this does not have a significant impact on
the development of the social and economic situation, the explanation can be at least
that on average one third of the educated enterprises are inactive, "frozen".
Based
on the research, it is possible to make a SWOT- analysis of the EKO,
which is shown in Table 2.
On the basis of the conducted research it is possible to offer the following ways
of development of single-industry towns with respect to four subjects of the
economy:
The state should provide not only financial, but also creative assistance in the
form of providing clear instructions for the implementation of programs taking into
account the
unique features of the region, as well as monitor budget allocation.
The task city-forming enterprise is investing in fixed assets, diversification of
production, increasing competitiveness and export-oriented products;

The state for small and medium-sized businesses can provide grants for
entrepreneurship
training, create direct investment funds and single administrative
centers for servicing SMEs (Damu Center);
State measures for the population can be expressed in the form of investing in
human capital (in the health, culture, education), the "green economy" of the regions
and the development of social infrastructure. [3]
