Purpose of discipline:The purpose of the discipline is to carry out manipulations with genes and genes for obtaining recombinant DNA and RNA and to learn about the theoretical modern achievements of their introduction into other organisms and the prospects for their development.
Course aim:To know various gene cloning systems, to teach modern directions of creating molecular vectors, to know methods for obtaining protein superproducers in prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems, to apply methods for obtaining transgenic animals and plants.
Course description:Theoretical foundations, methods and technologies for obtaining recombinant DNA and RNA, isolating genes from the body, manipulating genes and embedding them into other organisms; modern achievements of genetic engineering.
Prerequisites: Microbiology and virosology (in English)

Expected learning outcomes of the subject (LOS):
LOS 1.In an artificial nutrient medium, cells can use cultivation methods, cells growing in an artificial nutrient medium;
LOS2. Apply the processes of morphogenesis and regeneration occurring in cultured cells, methods of clonal micro reproduction of plants, technology of plant health improvement.
