DIGITAL EDUCATION IS THE MODERN KEY TO TEACHING BIOLOGY

Abstract: This article examines the dynamic development of digital technologies and their impact on the education system, as well as the importance of increasing the digital competence of future biology teachers through the use of digital technologies in teaching biology. The issue of digitalization of education, including the formation of digital competencies of future pedagogical specialists, is becoming relevant. The information base of modern biology is expanding every day. The article promotes the formation of digital competencies in the process of teaching and learning students through digital transformation, the training of future biology teachers on the example of the subject "Zoology" using new information systems and digital portals at the stage of studying biology, including zoology, and a deeper understanding of the problem of digitalization of education. The article presents effective data on the application of digital technologies in biology to teachers, students and researchers.
