Listening task ex/ 4, p. 99 (listening) Қосымша 1 Recommendations for delivering high quality presentation: Use an effective introduction/strong opening and set the tone. Presentation should be well – structured, well- designed . The audience should be able to follow the structure you have chosen. The content o should be logically organized and understandable for the audience. You should also try to make the talk interesting for the audience. Try not to lose their attention. Speak freely. Do not read off the slides word for word and do not recite a text that you learned by heart. Otherwise your presentation will sound monotonous and the audience may stop paying attention. Think how you can interact with audience (You can come up with an activity) Use vocabulary (related to the topic) that we covered during the semester. There should not be too much text in presentation. Be critical not descriptive. 12-15 minutes to present work. Main body: facts, quotes, evidences.
