TEACHING KAZAKH LITERATURE BASED ON VALUES IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS
Abstract. The article analyzes the features of the modern education system, the learning paradigm based
on values and skills. The issue of studying the subject of Kazakh literature on the basis of values is considered.
The updated educational program will analyze the objectives of teaching on the subject of Kazakh literature
and propose steps for its implementation. The model of axiological analysis of texts and contexts, presented
in the form of an excerpt from a work of fiction, is shown.
With the transition of secondary schools to the updated content of education, both the goals and the
system of education have changed. This process became the basis for changing the program of the discipline
«Kazakh literature». As a result, the system of learning objectives on the subject of Kazakh literature is aimed
at the formation and development of values in the student. Therefore, the issue of teaching Kazakh literature
is considered by us in close relationship with the axiological approach.
Currently, the problem of values has become the object of polyparadigmatic research. A striking example
of this is the axiological analysis given in the article. As an object of axiological analysis, artistic works
studied under the program of Kazakh literature in secondary schools were taken.
The definition of universal or national values in a work of art requires careful work with the details in
the text. That is, the definition of values in a work of art at a certain level is closely related to the dynamics
of the text and the meaningful thought in it. Therefore, at present, every student, getting acquainted with a
work of art, is not limited only to structural analysis, but seeks to identify the main idea of the work, to make
a psychological portrait of its characters, to better understand the author’s use of words, to determine values
and give an assessment from his side. The article pays special attention to the development of such skills on
the subject of Kazakh literature.
