II. State where the combination to be + participle II is a compound nominal predicate and where it is a simple predicate expressed by a verb in the Passive Voice.

1. Sam's body was twisted and deformed. (Abrahams). 2. Calling-off time depended on the state of the oast-house (сушилка для хмеля). Sometimes it was filled early. ... Then work was stopped. III. Define the type of middle voice using transformations:
