VARIATION SKILLS FORMATION Davydkin V. S. GBOU “School 1367” The article shows that the centuries-old world musical tradition served as sources for the creation of such a musical form as varia- tions. The musical theme itself can be quite simple, but at the same time it contains the potential for further meaningful disclosure. With the help of harmonic and polyphonic language, the form of varia- tions is designed to enrich the main theme, thereby contributing to its diverse presentation. Also, the development and further forma- tion of this form can be traced in the desire of instrumentalists to improvisation, with a further desire to demonstrate their virtuoso per- forming qualities of professional performers in a melodic reprise with melismatics. The article examines the pedagogical conditions for the formation of variation skills, as well as the history of the develop- ment of musical forms in European history, highlights the principles of development and genre formation in performing and orchestral music. Consideration of the variation form, which can be found in all samples of classical music, takes an important place in the work. Criteria are established within the framework of which conditions arise for the formation and consolidation of the canons of shaping with the aim of using them in the process of improving performance skills. In conclusion, the pedagogical tools for the formation of vary- ing competencies on the themes of Russian songs or romances, which have been part of the national repertoire for guitar and or- chestra of Russian folk instruments since the beginning of the 19th century, are explored.
