Brief description of the discipline: The biosphere and the circulation of substances. Living organisms, their classification. Climatic, biotic and anthropogenic factors. Biocenosis, biota, ecosystems, facies. Habitats and emerging centers of animals and plants. The emergence of fauna and flora on this day, the main stages of development of the organic world. Latitude and altitude zones. Fundamentals of ecology of flora and fauna of Kazakhstan
Tasks of the discipline; - forms biogeographic concepts and ideas about the diversity of organisms on the globe
Course aim: Master the basic concepts and concepts of biogeography. Familiarization with the patterns of distribution of flora and fauna.
Prerequisites: General Geology, General earth science,Physical geography of continents and oceans
Postrequisites:Landscape science and physical-geographical zoning Googlability and the basics of environmental management physical geography of Kazakhstan
