THE STRUCTURE FEATURES IN ENGLISH BUSINESS CORRESPONDENCE TEXTS

The research objective is the complex analysis of business correspondence on material of the Kazakh, Russian and English languages from a position of socio-cognitive and communicative and pragmatic approaches.
The goal realization assumes statement and solution of the following tasks:
• to carry out conceptual systematization of theories in a business discourse studying and cross-cultural business communication;
• to analyse features of a business discourse functioning in modern Kazakhstan under the influence of globalization processes of world economic relations and social contacts internationalization;
• using the existing criteria in studying of business correspondence texts, to develop the descriptive analysis model of business correspondence considering the socio-cultural, economic and interpersonal contextual factors characteristic in Kazakhstan;
• by means of this model to carry out the descriptive analysis of business correspondence texts on material of the Kazakh, Russian and English languages in the context of social business relations of the considered cultures;
• to reveal differences between texts of business correspondence in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages and to explain process of generation in the business message text from the point of view of cognitive base of the business communicants owning individual fund of background knowledge communicative, pragmatic and lingual stylistic features.
As the research object act the business correspondence texts in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages in the context of cross-cultural business communication.
The research subject are the socio-cognitive and communicative-pragmatic features shown in texts of business correspondence in the considered languages.
The solution of objectives defined the choice of communicative-pragmatic and socio-cognitive approaches as the general theoretical-methodological base of the dissertation research. Basic provisions of the used approaches are based on theories of interactional interlingual pragmatics (P. Brown, M. Clyne, G.Eelen, S. Levinson, D. Tannen, D. Schiffrin, A. Werzbicka, R. Watts, S. Ide, etc.), the speech acts theories (J. Austin, P. Grice, R. Lakoff, G. Leech, J. Searle, etc.), cross-cultural communication (M.J. Gannon, E. Hall, G. Hofstede, R. Pillai), modeling of communicative events (Teun A. van Dijk, R. Wodak, R.Kaplan, Y. Zhu, O.K. Iriskhanova, E.S. Kubryakova, A.O. Stebletsova, T.S. Shiryaeva, G.G. Burkitbayeva, S.K. Erezhepova, etc.). Besides, a cross-cultural business discourse theories (F. Bargiela-Chiappini, C. Candlin, C. Nickerson, R. Scollon, S.W. Scollon, H.Spencer-Oatey, T.N. Astafurova, Y.V. Danyushina, E.N. Malyuga, S.Y. Tyurina, etc.) and concepts of contrastive rhetoric act as methodological base (U. Connor, C. Bazerman,
X. Bhatia, R. Kaplan, J. Swales, Ángel F. Sanchez-Escobar, etc.). All this gives the chance to investigate a discourse not only from a position of realization of communicative intensions of the speech acts and events speaking during reproduction, but also to consider it as a special type of various forms representation of social knowledge defining the speech strategy and tactics of the communicants influencing the choice of specific linguistic forms in the course of discursive activity.
