PEDAGOGICAL TOOLS FOR THE FORMATION OF THE
FAMILY VALUE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS: CASE OF
COURSE «FUNDAMENTALS OF FAMILY RELATIONS»

The authors reflect the relevance of purposeful preparation of the
younger generation for future family life and the need to introduce
optional disciplines into the curricula of schools and universities,
aimed at forming a responsible attitude towards creating and main-
taining a family.
On the example of the Samara State Technical University (Sam-
STU), the article presents the experience of teaching the discipline
«Fundamentals of Family Relations» among senior students. The
content of each module of the course, forms of training and student
feedback on the need to study this discipline in higher education are
revealed.
The article shows that the elective course on the basics of family
relations is aimed at the need for every young person to realize the
value of family relations. Positive assessments and the willingness
of students to be included in the study of this discipline confirms the
need for its introduction in every educational institution, and feed-
back from young people will ensure its relevance and allow adjust-
ing the content taking into account the needs of young students.
