Semantic Peculiarities of Zoonym Metaphors in the Modern Russian and Turkish Languages

The author of the article touches upon the semantic features of zoonym metaphors in the modern Russian and Turkish languages and offers a variety of theoretical interpretations of zoonyms in the modern Russian language. The study concludes that comprehensive analysis of zoonyms in different languages can be treated as a new option of motivational and comparative analysis of vocabulary. Particular attention is given to the selection of examples of literary texts of the Russian and Turkish languages in their comparison

ФОНОЛОГИЧЕСКОЕ ПИСЬМО В НЕФОРМАЛЬНОЙ СПОНТАННОЙ ПИСЬМЕННОЙ РЕЧИ (на примере немецкоязычного чата)

В статье изложены результаты исследования основных видов фонологического письма в синхронном компьютерно-опосредованном общении в чате. В ходе анализа автор выделяет и описывает основные виды фонологического письма: различные разговорно-окрашенные виды фонетических усечений и имитацию рас- тягивания звуков при личном диалоге. Важным выводом является то, что подражание устной речи на письме служит в первую очередь не языковой экономии, а для сокращения социальной дистанции между коммуникантами.

Phonological Writing in Informal Spontaneous Script (on the basis of German chat rooms)

The article presents research results about the main phonological writing tools of the on-linecommunication in chat rooms. As a result of the analysis the author singles out and describes the main types of phonological writing: different colloquial phonetic reductions and imitation of long pronounced sounds in face-to-face dialogue. An important conclusion is that imitation of oral speech is used in writing first of all not for linguistic economy but for narrowing social distance between the people who communicate

Особое внимание уделяется раскрытию механизма отражения менталитета нации в просодическом оформлении повседневной речи.

Celtic Tradition and Courtly Love in Marie of Frances Lai Lanval

The article discusses the lai Lanval by Marie of France, the first French poetess who lived and wrote at the court of Henry II Plantegenet in the 12th century. This lai is closely connected with the Celtic tradition of Irish sagas and works of Geoffrey of Monmouth and Wace. However, courtly love motifs of troubadours lyrics can be found in lais as well. The article analyzes Celtic and courtly love motifs, as well as their interaction in Marie of Frances lai.
