В статье проанализирована малоизвестная работа Ю. Ф. Самарина, в которой он рассуждает об особенностях взаимоотношений личности, власти и общества на Руси. Славяне, по мнению Самарина, выражают идею личности в живом факте - в Князе, германцы же определяют ее как отвлеченное понятие. Работа Самарина, по мнению автора, дала импульс для осмысления этой проблемы К. С. Аксаковым и И. В. Киреевским.

The Issue of Power and Society in the Work by U. F. Samarin Prince and Its Impact on the Representatives of the Moscow School

The article analyses a little-known work by U. F. Samarin in which he discusses peculiar features of interrelation between the individual, the authorities and the society in Russia. In Samarins view, the Slavs express the idea of the individual in a real fact - the Prince (or the Knyaz), while the Teutons define it as an abstract concept. The author argues that the work of Samarin gave impetus for thinking over this issue to K. S. Aksakov and I. V. Kireevsky.
