Pre-reading task: Before you read the text, divide into groups of three. Read the movie plot below and give your own title. Compare your answers and choose the best heading among the groups.
Jane Nichols acted as a bridesmaid at 27 of her friend's weddings. She meets Kevin Doyle when she works as a bridesmaid at two weddings at the same time. He helps her to get home by a taxi, but disappoints with his depressing outlook on marriage. Accidentally he finds the day planner she forgot in the cab they shared.Jane Nichols has a younger sibling Tess, who in the meantime falls in love with Jane's boss George. She tries to make him to fall in love with her by pretending she has the same interests as he does. However, Jane is also in love with her boss. The romance progresses and when Tess and George announce they intend to marry, they ask Jane to be their wedding planner.The reporter who covers their wedding for a newspaper turns out to be Kevin. He has decided to use the contents of Jane's planner as material for an article, aiming to be promoted and write investigative, news articles. Unaware of Kevin's intentions, when he asks to interview her for his newspaper article on Tess's wedding, Jane tries on all 27 bridesmaids’ dresses and they have a fun time. He takes pictures and sends them with the article to his boss. However, as Kevin and Jane get to know each other closer, he starts to like her more, and asks his editor not to publish his article.Once Jane agrees to go out with Kevin. Kevin's editor prints the article anyway and when Jane finds out, she is furious with him…..
