Good morning, and thank you for joining me. Before we begin, I want you to imagine the future, ten years from now. How do you foresee your company operating? As a forward-thinking company, I expect you will be on the cutting edge of your
field, much as you are today. In order to do that, you must stay ahead of the curve in all areas. That is why you should begin using compressed air energy storage, or CAES.
So what is CAES? Essentially it involves pumping ambient air into underground caverns, while compressing it to increase storage capacity. When necessary, the air is heated and released. This powers a turbine which in turn generates electricity.
This system would be very beneficial for a couple of
reasons. For one thing, it would significantly reduce your emissions. Secondly, CAES systems have an extremely fast start-up time, which means that we can be efficient in times of high demand. Lastly and most importantly is that it would save you a significant amount of money. As CAES uses excess
energy to heat air at off-peak times, your overheads
would be lower.
Overall, I think implementing a CAES system would only benefit your company. Please, do not hesitate to ask any questions you have on the topic.
Thank you for listening.
