Development of research competence of students in the study of elective courses in higher education
Annotation.This article is about the role of elective courses in the development of research competence of students
in higher education. Teaching chemistry directly related to the process of formation of the research competence.
Among the forming research competence the most effective set of special courses supposed coherent passage of their
pedagogical research. With elective courses we can review the traditional methods of teaching chemistry and develop
new ones.Involving students to the research activities and to contribute development of their creative thinking and
research abilities.
Key words: elective courses, research competence, chemistry of oil, physical and chemical analysis.
