The study revealed qualitative changes in the content of professional 
competence of former cultural workers. At the same time, the increasing role of the 
socio-cultural and pedagogical component of the competence of a specialist in the 
socio-cultural sphere was noted, which is confirmed by modern conceptual approaches 
expressed in an attempt to combine the achievements of pedagogy and cultural studies 
for the successful solution of goals and tasks facing specialists in the involvement of 
the individual in the world of culture. 
The most important condition ensuring the pedagogical process of formation of 
successfully adapting, mobile, self-confident, professionally competent specialists is 
the subjective position of the student. Subjectivity as a systemic quality of a student 
reflects the ability to consciously, independently, purposefully, self-regulating 
transformation of initial abilities and properties into socially significant and 
professionally important qualities. 
When studying the influence of leading factors on the processes of socialization 
and individualization of the future specialist of the cultural and educational 
environment, special attention is paid to the internal factor - individual resources or 
resources of personal development. 
Individual resources should include leadership that promotes the expression of 
personality subjectivity, actualization of internal potential, mobilizing intellectual, 
volitional, emotional properties of the future specialist. 
In modern economic conditions, the development of leadership qualities of a 
specialist in the cultural and leisure sphere should contribute not only to the formation 
of a competitive specialist, but also to the disclosure of his personal potential, which is 
today a factor of professional and personal success [9]. 
The pedagogical culture of a future specialist in the cultural and leisure sphere 
provides a moral and humanistic orientation of socio-cultural impact, a measure of 
responsibility for its result, compliance with pedagogical norms in interpersonal 
interaction aimed at promoting the development of another, determines the quality and 
choice of socio-cultural and pedagogical methods and techniques, stimulates personal 
and professional improvement. 
The pedagogical culture of a specialist in the socio-cultural sphere is considered 
as a systematic education that includes pedagogical values and norms, the achieved 
level of personal development, the quality of mastering socio-cultural technologies that
