THE PROBLEM OF FORMING COMPETENCES IN 
THE FIELD OF DIGITAL HUMAN SCIENCES AMONG 
UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

The article presents an analysis of the problems of the formation of 
competencies in the field of digital humanities in higher education. 
The ambivalence of the processes of hybridization, hypostasis of 
transdisciplinarity arising on the basis of the introduction of this con-
cept has been substantiated. We believe that the inclusion of the 
development of digital humanities in the practice of higher educa-

tion requires synchronous training in the framework of humanitari-
an courses, both technical and specialized (humanitarian) aspects 
within a specific scientific field without hypostatizing the meanings of 
the subject, object and methodological basis of science.
The authors considered problematic issues of pedagogical support 
for the formation of competencies in the field of digital humanities 
and proposed a system for integrating pedagogical technologies
methods of developing cognitive activity in humanitarian students. 
As the results achieved, the authors present conclusions on the 
need for a pedagogical understanding of the process of forming the 
concept of digital humanities in higher education in the context of 
the growth of digitalization of education, including an analysis of the 
risks and opportunities of this process.
