1. Literary translation is a translation of poetry, the main purpose of which is "poetic communication" - the transfer of information from the author to the recipient, in which not only the semantic content, but also the aesthetic component is transmitted at the same time. Goncharenko shares the concept of "literary" and "poetic" text, because in the literary text there is a division into lines, but there is no number of means used in the translation of the poetic text, such as rhyme, rhythm, meter, and carries the individuality of the translator and his talent.
Thus, the literary type of translation is the translation of the poetic text of the original from one language into another, using the same literary text. In the course of literary translation, the translator creates a new unit of poetry, equivalent to the original in terms of conveying the semantic and aesthetic component. However, if it is necessary, the translator uses his own language or literary forms, sacrificing the structure of the original, but at the same time preserving the content of the work. S. F. Goncharenko, claims that this method is a way of translating literary for a wide range of readers. Literary translation is a way of influencing the source language on the literature of the target language, in which the languages and national characteristics of the two peoples converge.
2. Poetry translation is a type of translation of poetry, in which the lexical and semantic components are close to the original text verbally and stylistically, however, the aesthetic component that creates the “authentic poetic text” is absent.
3. Philological translation - a prose translation of the original, aimed at a full semantic transfer of information contained in the original. Such a translation is considered auxiliary, carries introductory function and cannot completely replace poetic translation. This type of translation has scientific or practical significance and is often accompanied by the author's commentary [6, 349 p.].
Each of the three types of translation makes it possible to view the original text in different ways, depending on the goals of the translator. According to S. F. Goncharenko, there are three points in which a translator can consider a poetic text: stylistic, semantic and pragmatic. The dominance of one of them inevitably leads to literalism:
1. Stylistic - the translator pays a lot of attention to minor details, distorting the overall impression, which comes down to translation formalism.
2. Semantic - can be traced in interlinear translation. The aesthetic component and structure of the original work are absent, as well as the poetic text itself in the translation.
3. Pragmatic - the transfer of the work to the environment of the TL.
Thus, a poetic text is a kind of artistic text, in which the boundaries of the manifestation of the author's individuality of the translator and the expression of his creative nature, of course, are revealed, which leads to an inevitable distortion, namely, the transformation of the original text with varying degrees of deviation on that or another level.
The poet-translator has as his goal to achieve the most adequate and equivalent translation, while, however, he must be prepared for omissions and losses in translation, which mark one simple and completely natural reality - to fully reproduce the original work within another language is impossible. As the English literary critic and folklorist D. Jacobs said, “Reading poetry in translation is like kissing a woman through a veil.” Words in the language are included in the associative array, which may not coincide during translation and be interpreted by native speakers in different ways, depending on the semantic meaning and connotation. Of course, an additional factor is the multiplicity of interpretations that naturally arise in poetry and in fiction in general.
