Love
Love can be defined as a strong feeling of personal attachment between friends or family members. It can also be defined as tender and compassionate affection shared between two people.
When you love someone, you respond emotionally to that person's needs. You help each other so that your lives are better when you are together than when you are apart.
Some people say that to know love, you must experience it. You have experienced some forms of love already in your life. You will experience more as you grow emotionally and socially.
Both positive and negative feelings are closely related to the emotion of love. The power that love has can either improve or harm a person's life.
Positive types of love add richness and fullness to life. They help people to feel good about themselves, about others and about life in general.
TRUE LOVE involves total communication and commitment between two people. It means sharing what one has and what one is when with another person. True love motivates two people to help each other have the best life possible.
TENDER LOVE is happy and satisfying. It is not only beautiful in itself, but it increases the loveliness of the people involved. Tender love makes people feel warm, secure and cheerful. FRIENDLY LOVE grows through the years. It is neither passionate and consuming, nor hostile and hurting. The people experiencing it are kept together with feelings of mutual respect and understanding. Sometimes a true love can be built upon a foundation of friendly love.
JEALOUS LOVE is a possessive love. The jealous lover holds the other person so tightly that the person is cut off from other people. Jealousy almost always a mark of insecurity. PASSIONATE LOVE is vigorous, insistent, and urgent. It centers on the sexual relationships of men and women. It can also be selfish, with little concern for the other. By itself, this kind of love is exhausting. Blended with other love forms, it can be In HOSTILE LOVE the emotions of love and hate are closely related. This tendency to hate those you love involves a feeling of ambivalence — being attracted to and repelled by someone at the same time.
UNRETURNED LOVE is frustrating because it is unfulfilled love. When you realize your love is not being returned you may react with feelings of pain, sorrow, and hopelessness.
INFATUATION is often mistaken for love. Definitions of love mention strength and lasting qualities. Definitions of infatuation mention foolish, extreme attractions that do not last. Infatuation begins quickly and may end quickly as it began. Physical attraction may be a part of love, but it is often the only basis for infatuation.
Risk is an unavoidable part of life. Perhaps the greatest risk in loving another person is knowing that it may not last and that the end of a relationship can bring a great deal of heartache-and pain. No one can tell what the future will bring. Frequently, after a love relationship has come to an endt either or both of the partners avoid future relationships because they don't want to risk. This "solution", however, is not a solution at all. As you grow in experience, your judgment improves. Anyway, you have to learn to make your love relationships satisfying ones, for yourself and othersexhilarating and fulfilling.

Hobbies differ like tastes. If you have chosen hobby according to your character and taste - you are lucky because your life becomes more interesting. Hobbies are divided into four large classes: doing things, making things, collecting things, and learning things. The most popular of all hobby groups is doing things. It includes a wide variety of activities, everything from gardening to traveling and from chess to volleyball. Gardening is one of the oldest man’s hobbies. It is a well-known fact that the English are very found of gardening and growing flowers, especially roses. Both grown-ups and children are found of playing different computer games. This is relatively new hobby but it is becoming more and more popular. Making thing includes drawing, painting, making sculpture, designing costumes, handicrafts and others. Two of the most famous hobby painters were President Eisenhower and Sir Winston Churchill. Some hobbyists write music or play musical instruments.
President Bill Clinton, for example, plays saxophone. Almost everyone collects something during some period in his life: stamps, coins, matchboxes, books, records, postcards, toys, watches and other things. Some collections do not have real value. Others become so large and so valuable that they are housed in museums and art galleries. Many world famous collections started as a small collection with one or two items. People with a good deal of money often collect paintings, rare books and other art object. Often such private collections are given to museums, libraries and public galleries so that others might take pleasure in seeing them.
No matter what kind of hobby a person has, one always has the opportunity of learning from it. By reading about the things one is interested in, he adds to what he knows. Learning thing can be the most exciting aspect of a hobby. However, sometimes hobby may turn into profession as it happened with the famous writer Jane Smith.

Malls are popular place for Americans to go. Some people spend so much time at malls that they are called “ mall rats” shop “until they drop” in the hundreds of stores under one roof.
People like malls for many reasons. They feel safe because malls have police station or private security guards. Parking is usually free, and the weather inside is always fine. The newest malls have beautiful rest areas with waterfalls and palm trees.
The largest mall in the USA is the Mall of America in Minnesota. It covers 4.2 million square feet. It has 350 stores, eight nightclubs, an seven- area amusement park! There are parking spaces for 12,750 cars. About 750,000 people shop there every week.
The first indoor mall in the USA was built in 1965 in Edina Minnesota. People loved doing all their shopping in one place. Many more malls were built all over the country. Now, malls are like town centers where people come to do many things. They shop, of course. They also eat in food courts that have food from all over the world. They see movies at multiplex theater. Some people get their daily exercise by doing the new sport of mall walking. Others go to malls to meet friends.
In some malls, people can see a doctor or dentist and even attend church. In other words, people can do just about everything in malls. The latest trend is condo malls. Now residents can actually live in their favorite shopping center. For a mall rat, this is a dream come true.

three [Оri:] thirteen [`Oo'ti:n] (13)
four fourteen (14) five [faiv] fifteen ['fif'ti:n] (15)
six sixteen (16)
seven seventeen (17)
eight [eit] eighteen ['ei'ti:n] (18)
nine nineteen (19)
му склад i на суфіксі: fifteen ['fif`ti:n], nineteen ['nain'ti:n].
[ `fifti:n] pencils, nineteen ['nainti:n] pages.
[nain'ti:n].
two [tu:] twenty ['twenti] (20
four forty (40)
five [faiv] fifty ['fifti] (50)
six sixty (60)
eight eighty (80)
nine ninety (90)
Числівники hundred, thousand і million не приймають закінчення -s, коли перед ними стоїть другий числівник: two hundred, three thousand, four million:
Hundred, thousand, million -s,
Hundreds of students were present Сотні студентів були at the meeting.
Thousands of people greeted the
russian representatives.
21 — twenty-one 69 — sixty-nine
235 — two hundred and thirty-five
4,007 — four thousand and seven
581,462 — five hundred and eighty-one thousand four hundred
and sixty-two
1,694 — а (або one) thousand six hundred and ninety-four
564 — five hundred and sixty-four
8,000 — eight thousand
2,000,025 — two million and twenty-five
менником of: hundreds of students coтні студентів; thousands
of workers тисячі робітників.
four — fourth
fifteen — fifteenth
five — fifth
twelve — twelfth
nine — ninth
sixty — sixtieth
one — first
two — second
three — third
twenty-one — twenty – first
three hundred and sixty – four — three hundred and sixty – fourth
