ANNOTATION Scientific research and practical experience show that with the improvement of hay and pasture lands, their productivity increases sharply, and the cost of pasture feed is about 3-4 times lower than that obtained in field feed production. The application of these measures is of particular importance for Northern Kazakhstan, where climatic conditions and soils are most favorable for the growth and development of perennial crops, which makes it possible to create high-yielding seeded herbage of long productive longevity, which can significantly increase the efficiency of forage lands. This article presents the results of research for the uninterrupted feeding of animals with high- quality green feed, for the purpose of which a green conveyor was developed taking into account the alternation of crops and their mixtures, different in terms of maturation, while the optimal mowing time from 5-30 days was observed. At the same time, the presence of a bean component in the mixtures is mandatory to increase the balance of semi-essential feeds. The results of the study showed that high yields were noted in the crops of corn, sorghum- sudank hybrid and sorghum – 145,1; 112.3 and 110,7 c/ha, respectively. The lowest yield of green mass among the options for pasture use was in the stalk of previous years – 45,7 c/ ha.
