pedagogical culture of the future specialist of the cultural and leisure sphere, the
continuity of professional education (amateur creativity - lyceum - college - university
- system of additional professional education), which allows to ensure the consistency
of the process of formation of pedagogical culture [11].
The process of forming a student's pedagogical culture is based on a consistent,
qualitatively transformative transition from the theoretical development of general
education, cultural and pedagogical knowledge to the formation of skills, professional
and pedagogical qualities, values, to the practical testing of socio-cultural and
pedagogical technologies that prepare for continuous self-education and self-
improvement in the process of independent professional activity [12].
The criteria for the level of formation of the pedagogical culture of the future
specialist of the cultural and leisure sphere are:
- value-motivational criterion containing indicators of value attitude to socio-
cultural activity as a pedagogical activity,
- cognitive-activity criterion containing indicators of theoretical and
technological readiness to perform a human-creative function,
- personal-creative criterion containing indicators of readiness and ability to
implement socio-cultural and pedagogical impact [13].
According to the results of the study, university students have a low level of
development of pedagogical culture, although more than half of them associate their
further work with pedagogy. Many people assume the possibility of working as a
teacher - organizer of leisure, a teacher of additional education, the head of an amateur
team, a social teacher. Preparation for pedagogical activity is considered sufficient by
half of the surveyed students. The students explain the current situation with
insufficient knowledge of pedagogical theory, lack of practical skills, lack of
pedagogical practice.
Pedagogical functions are imputed to specialists, but this is not confirmed in
in-depth psychological and pedagogical training, in the methodology of educational
programs that ensure the formation and consolidation of pedagogical knowledge, skills
and abilities, the potential of educational and industrial practices is poorly used in the
formation of pedagogical experience in solving pedagogical tasks [14].
