innovation space and, conversely, the effective functioning of the new in the conditions
of the remaining old (with the mediating influence of the modern) [5].
In the cultural and educational environment of the university, the intellectual
and creative potential of the student is fully realized, positive experience of active
adaptation in society and successful socialization of the individual is acquired. The
pedagogical practice of universities of culture convincingly proves that the assimilation
of competencies by students in the learning process is not enough for the full formation
and development of creative activity of future specialists, it is necessary to include
students in the resolution of creative situations requiring an original non-standard
approach, as well as the use of cultural and leisure activities and its focus on open
communication, creative interaction, self-realization of the individual in the leisure
space.
Sociological surveys of students of universities of culture indicate the
importance of cultural and leisure activities for the development of creative potential.
Thus, 64% of respondents showed high creative emancipation in the process of
communication in cultural and leisure activities; 79% noted the desire for extraordinary
resolution of creative tasks; 45% indicated the manifestation of creative initiative. It is
significant that 82% of the surveyed students indicate the development of initiative in
creative activity in cultural and leisure practices of cultural universities, such as
creative laboratories, creative projects, forums and festivals, etc. [6].
Consequently, the development of creative activity of students in the cultural
and leisure activities of the University of culture is a necessary condition for the
professional stability of specialists in this field, their focus on constant self-
development and self-realization [8].
The principles of a systematic approach that seem to be the most important in
the development of innovations in socio-cultural activities are listed here.
The peculiarity of innovative socio-cultural systems is that their functioning is
determined not only by the state and impact of the environment, but also by the system's
own goals, which implies the transformation of the environment, subordination of the
environment to the requirements of effective self-production of the system and its
components, including through the restructuring of the socio-cultural space-time
continuum and modification of management subsystems and organizations.
