Graduate of the graduate school of MPDA The article is devoted to the analysis of the human being in the psy- chological and pedagogical work of the Russian thinker P. P. Soco- low with a psychological and anthropological understanding of all the elements of his works (taking into account the sources involved, the considered tendencies of thinking, and the evaluation of the cri- teria used by him). He was at the forefront of Russian psychologists who began to explore different study conditions to create a rational organization of the educational load on schoolchildren, an even dis- tribution of time for work and rest, psychoanalytically justifying the composition of school schedules. The author conducted a historical and critical review in social and philosophical views. This time in hu- man philosophy and psychology was characterized by an increased interest in the study of the child’s behavior, his “I”. P. P. Sokolov did not support experimental methods of the formation of psychology, which saw the main task as the gradual accumulation of scientifi- cally based facts, obtaining them through objective methodologies, through experiments. Although he believed that, the research of modern scientists should focus entirely on solving practical prob- lems. From his point of view, the initial attitude in life activity should be called the aspiration to the process of holistic knowledge of the properties and features of personal development.
