THE INFLUENCE OF THE COMPLEX FOOD SUPPLEMENT «PRAM» ON THE
REDUCTION OF MICROORGANISMS IN COLLAGEN-CONTAINING RAW MATERIALS
ANNOTATION
Sanitary and microbiological examination of raw materials is relevant today, as it allows to
guarantee the sanitary purity of food raw materials and products produced from them, as well as to
diagnose the source of infection.
In this article, the microbiological purity of raw materials containing horse collagen was
studied in the treatment of microbiological contamination with PRAM complex food mixture based on
an aqueous solution of plant extracts (linden flowers, oat husks, plantain, sea buckthorn and grapes)
with antimicrobial and antibacterial properties.
"PRAM" nutritional supplement for horse raw materials containing collagen has shown a
synergistic effect in suppressing the large-scale growth of microorganisms in the raw materials since
the composition based on an aqueous solution of propylene glycol, citric acid and plant extracts from
the initial stage of development of the colonies of microorganisms by creating an optimal pH
environment (preventing the development of microorganisms).
The combination of properties of "PRAM" made it possible to transfer the microorganisms to
the stationary (latent) phase, thereby slowing down and stopping the initial growth period of the
colonies of microorganisms.
As a result, the effect of 0.05% PRAM complex food mixture on raw materials with collagen
at 40 °C was able to influence the required level of microorganisms within 40 minutes.
An indicator of the amount of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms,
as well as mold fungi, yeast, spore-forming bacteria was able to have a positive effect.
