In this article, we reflect the features of the interaction between the 
family and the school at the present stage of the development of ed-
ucation. In particular, the work shows the dependence of family rela-
tionships, family on the performance of younger students. In modern 
conditions, there is a difference between the parents’ experience 
of receiving school education and modern educational standards
which is the reason for a significant number of conflict situations. It 
is shown that in order to solve this discrepancy, the teacher needs to 
make the educational process as accessible and clear as possible 
for the parents of students.
Analysis of modern research has made it possible to identify the 
main features of the family, family upbringing and educational ac-
tivities of primary schoolchildren, as well as to select methods for 
identifying the level of influence of the family on the performance of 
primary school students. Subsequently, the methods we selected 
helped to determine the most effective methods and techniques that 
would promote high-quality interaction between family and school, 
as well as their positive impact on the performance of younger stu-
dents.
