FEATURES OF HEARING DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN
WITH SAVED AND IMPAIRED HEARING
Аbstract
The article presents the main features and features of hearing-speech development in children with intact
and impaired hearing. On the basis of a comprehensive theoretical analysis, a general description of the
stages of speech impairment of children with impaired hearing is presented. The state of auditory perception
depends on the preservation of the auditory function of the child, on its functional work in accordance with
the ontogenesis of normal development.
Scientific literature describes various approaches to the consideration of the ontogenesis of speech
development. The main goal of speech development is to ensure the timely and effective development of
speech as a means of communication, awareness, child expression, the development of various types of
children's activities, based on mastering the language of their people.
As a result, impaired auditory function leads to a lack of hearing in children. This in turn leads to the
impossibility of independent development of speech. Without high-quality hearing aids, special correctional,
rehabilitation work with specialists of deaf-and-dumb pedagogues, without immersion in a normal speech
environment, speech in deaf and deaf children with severe hearing loss is not formed. Depending on the time
of hearing loss, timely detection of hearing impairment, timely, high-quality hearing aid and the beginning of
a lesson during the sensitive (critical-up to a year) stage, the results in the speech development of these
children will be different.
