international private law. – Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, 
Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Kharkiv, 2016. 
The dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive research of the 
theoretical and practical problems of usage of the electronic evidence in 
civil procedure. It is proved the necessity of isolating electronic evidence in 
an independent kind of evidence on the basis of structural, procedural and 
specific characteristics of their research and evaluation in the civil 
proceedings requiring special legal regulation. 
The features of some varieties of electronic means of proof, such as 
sound and video, electronic documents, and proposes ways to use when 
considering and resolving civil cases information on the Internet. Special 
attention is paid to the evidentiary value of electronic signature and features 
of securing electronic evidence.
The theoretical concepts and practical conclusions aimed at improving 
civil procedural law and judicial practice laid down in this scientific work.
